A few things to know about Medicare insurance coverage and your upcoming visit.
Insurance benefits for Medicare patients
If you have diabetes, end-stage renal disease, or have had a transplant within the past 36 months, Medicare may cover nutrition counseling with a registered dietitian — including three visits in your first year and two visits in each following year.
* We’re happy to submit your claim to insurance; however, we cannot assume responsibility for the verification of your benefits. If the visit is not covered, then you will be expected to pay for the visit.
